Can i use a different wireless adapter brand than my wireless router?
I have a linksys WRT54G and was wondering if i could buy a d-link or belkin or something else for and adapter?

sometimes though, belkin routers and wifi dongles work better together, eg Belkin has a G+ mode which works at 125 meg instead of just G which only runs at 54....but ive found features like that to be crap anyway, and most of the time it doesnt make any difference, as your net connection will only be 2-8mb anyway, so doubling the speed your computer connects to the router makes no difference (and hardly affects the pc-router ping at all)
