What Is The Difference Between R4i And R4 Cards?-gamezway
i have a ds lite with a r4 card which works, my kids have a dsi with a r4i card which when you turn the dsi on it says there is an error but if i put the card in mine it works fine, does anyone know why this would happen and how do i get it to work on theres and not mine????Is there a difference between r4 and r4i cards?
The owner of a Nintendo DS would do well to make an investment into adapter cards to expand the function of their game system and figure out all of the additional ways in which they will be able to use their DS. Two of the hardest types of cards to figure out are R4i series and the R4 series.When you need to figure out which type of card is right for your DS or DSi, you will need to look between these two series.
The R4 series card is a popular type of card to turn to because it is rather inexpensive and has a great range of function.They were build with fast technology in mind and as a result, you can expect to use this adapter card to quickly load programs and give you a full range of function within moments.The R4 card is also a wise choice because?Some of them?can handle up to 32 GB of memory, which is a very large quantity for a Nintendo DS.This means that this type of card should be able to work well for all of your gaming needs.The only drawback is that it only works for the original model of R4DS and the model directly after that, the DS Lite.
An R4i card, on the other hand, is slated to work with both the original Nintendo DS and the DSi Lite as well as the newest model, the DS-i.This can allow you the chance to have an adapter card which is going to work with any type of console and you can use this to your advantage to make sure that you'll always be able to use special programs, no matter which type of DS you have available.An R4i card will work in your original DS model as well as it will in your friend's new DS-i.This will allow you to make sure that your R4i technology never fails on you and you can utilize it with whatever tools you have available.
Looking at it from this angle, it seems that an R4i card would automatically be a better investment over the R4 card.This depends on what you are looking for with your adapter card, however.? If you want a cheaper card which is going to perform at a very high level, the R4 card will be enough for you.
You will be able to use it on two different types of Nintendo DS and while it won't be functional on the newest console upgrade, you may not need this.In the end, choosing the best adapter card for your DS will come down to your budget as well as how many consoles you could end up using.? If there is a likelihood of using a DS-i model, opt for the R4i card.Otherwise, an R4 card could serve you nicely.

Can you use two wireless adapter cards on one laptop (one external card and one internal)?

Very good Question. YOu can definately use 2 Wifi Network Cards on 1 Laptop. Hackers normally use 2 WiFi Network cards to hack other people's WiFI. I know this because i am an Ethical Hacker and i have 2 Network Cards in my Laptop. 1 Centrino Internal and another ASUS USB. They both work fine and gives no probs. Let me know if you have any probs.
